A look at the 24th Würzburg EMS Day:
The EMS sector has a future, but it needs to take action to secure it
Many EMS companies have endured three difficult years, and new material-related risks are on the horizon. Nevertheless, at the 24th Würzburg EMS Day, there was little sense of resignation and a strong focus on the future: on new business models, AI, succession planning, collaboration – and on how the industry can draw more attention to its strengths.
The situation is far from comfortable for many EMS companies at present, and this was certainly not glossed over at the 24th Würzburg EMS Day on 1 October 2026.
