(German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers' Association) in Frankfurt am Main for over 15 years. The trained banker and graduate economist did his doctorate in Cologne and Regensburg.

    Andrea Kunwald is an experienced manager and leader and author of several management manuals. Her wealth of experience includes decades in business, politics and supervisory boards. Her competences are several years of experience in management, leading sales organisations in the IT & telecommunication industry as well as managing public relations.


    She has enormous experience in building large networks and advocacy groups for the German economy on the topic of digitalisation, Industry 4.0 and attracting skilled workers. Sebastian Schaal

    Sebastian Schaal is the founder of Luminovo, a SaaS company that rethinks processes within the electronics value chain to accelerate technological progress.

    He holds two Master's degrees and an Honours degree from TU Munich, Stanford University and CDTM, where he studied electrical engineering, computer science and entrepreneurship.

    At Intel, as well as the technology startups NavVis and Magazino, he worked as a software engineer focusing on machine learning. As a consultant at McKinsey, he worked on IT and data strategy.

After studying materials engineering, he worked in PCB production and then for base material manufacturers. As president of various industry associations (FBDi, IDEA), he has been instrumental in shaping the perception and positioning of the entire distribution industry over the past 25 years. He currently works as a freelance consultant, including in distribution as a digital supply chain consultant and with his own projects in sustainability and urban development.

Claudia Mallok

Specialist journalist and moderator

    Claudia Mallok has a degree in communications engineering and has been working as a trade journalist in the electronics industry for 25 years. She supports companies in marketing, moderates trade events and coaches young professionals in trade press work. 


    Until 2011, she was deputy editor-in-chief of ELEKTRONIKPRAXIS at Vogel in Würzburg. Here she was one of the first women to present the topic of manufacturing printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies in the trade press and to establish and expand it cross-medially. In 2003, she initiated a meeting for managers in the EMS industry, the Würzburger EMS Tag, which she still moderates today.
