Markus Ziechaus is a partner and authorized signatory at Quest Consulting AG, a firm specializing in small and medium-sized enterprises. Prior to that, he served for many years as managing director of Bayern Consult Unternehmensberatung GmbH. For about 20 years, Ziechaus, who holds a degree in business administration (FH), has been advising small and medium-sized enterprises in the areas of financing, restructuring, business succession, and M&A.

Thanks to his many years of experience in controlling and management consulting, Markus Ziechaus understands the perspectives of companies as well as those of banks and investors. As a lecturer at the Sparkassenakademien in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, and Hesse-Thuringia, he provides practical insights into the criteria used by German SMEs’ primary banks, in particular, to evaluate companies. His focus is on showing entrepreneurs ways to sustainably increase their company’s value and actively shape its future.
