Boris Ulmer is Director of Product Management at Electronic Direct GmbH, an independent distributor of electronic components and system components within the Conrad SE Group. Previously, he worked in the banking sector as a Business Development Manager for E-Commerce, focusing on digital sales and marketing strategies.

He is currently pursuing his doctorate at the University of Sopron (Hungary), Department of Economics and Management, in cooperation with the FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management in Essen (Germany). His research focuses on digitalization strategies of chip industry distributors. He holds an M.Sc. in Business Consulting & Digital Management and a BA in Business Administration.

His areas of expertise include the digitalization and strategic implementation of supply chain solutions, the design of data-based business models, and AI-supported process automation.

Since 2007, he has been running Halbleiter-Scout, an independent B2B platform for the semiconductor and microelectronics industry.
