What really helps companies move forward comes from experience. EMS Tag 2026 offers space for practical application, exchange and new perspectives in small and medium-sized enterprises.

Share experiences. Open up perspectives. Shape the future.

EMS Tag will enter its next round in 2026 – with the tailwind of 23 years of industry experience and a clear focus on the business of medium-sized EMS companies in German-speaking countries. Corona, chip crisis, bullwhip effect, volatile markets, supply chain stress and increasing bureaucracy: the EMS industry has had a lot to contend with in recent years. And often almost unnoticed, significant changes have taken place.

Large EMS companies are growing faster. Some of the smaller ones are disappearing from the market. Succession issues and company acquisitions are becoming increasingly important. Price competition with Asian suppliers is almost impossible to win. What remains – and what is gaining in importance – is differentiation: through processes, service quality, speed and reliability. And through people who are willing to take on responsibility and actively develop their companies.

The EMS Tag has always been aimed at decision-makers from EMS companies. It is a place for exchange on equal terms, for honest discussions and for ideas that prove their worth in everyday business life. In 2026, we will continue to seek practical experience – open, reflective and relevant to small and medium-sized enterprises.

Discuss the following and other key topics

Strategists 2026

We specifically target people who bear responsibility and shape the future:

  • Managing directors and owners of medium-sized EMS companies
  • Executives from operations, HR, and business development
  • External experts, such as interim managers, trainers, consultants, and financial experts from investor and banking circles
  • OEMs who share their perspective on collaboration, expectations, and change

Topics for 2026

We are looking for practical contributions from and for the EMS industry, including on topics such as:

  • Transformation in medium-sized businesses: structure, processes, culture
  • Leadership and employees in uncertain times
  • Business development beyond pure price competition
  • Differentiation through service, speed and reliability
  • Company succession and change of ownership
  • M&A: preparation, integration, reality versus expectation
  • Standardisation and digitalisation as enablers for stability and growth
